Unique cross-boundary seminars
Sequeli specialises in seminars which cut across the boundaries of domestic homicide reviews, mental health investigations and serious case reviews (children and vulnerable adults).
It bases its seminars on Sequeli's Core Competencies training curriculum and adopts Sequeli's Integrated Training approach.
The seminars are run in association with reputable academic and legal organisations.
Those interested in Sequeli seminars
Participants will be independent chairs, report writers, expert panel members, managers and commissioners of serious case reviews (children and vulnerable adults), mental health investigations and domestic homicide reviews who wish to consolidate their existing skills, refresh or expand into new areas of work.
Their backgrounds will include management, social work, law, medicine and the police. Some will already be very experienced. Others will be new to the task and wishing to develop this as an area of expertise. Many will look forward to meeting commissioners of reviews and investigations, who are also invited, with the possibility of opening up new work opportunities.
All will be seeking the opportunity to discuss chairing and writing of reports with experts and colleagues from their own and other specialisms.
Seminars June - July 2011
In the Summer of 2011, Sequeli ran a series of three seminars in association with King's College London and 1 Garden Court Family Law Chambers Temple London which were the first of their kind.
Go to the Seminars June-July 2011 page to read about these seminars.
Look out for the 2012 repeat of these successful seminars, which will cover the developments concerning reviews and investigations which are continuing to take place in this fast-changing world of public services. The programme will be out in the New Year
"Fascinating day - I particularly enjoyed the afternoon and the discussion around joining up all the different processes"
"All seminars were very useful. The discussion about which review process should be used when you have a mental health death that was a domestic homicide, was very good"
"The whole day was practically focussed and very, very helpful, entertaining and informative"
